At Circuit Bakers, we strive to spread awareness about robotics within the community. By showcasing our innovations, we introduce students to the endless opportunities in engineering, technologies, and manufacturing. Through outreach events, we inspire curiosity and encourage young students, underrepresented groups, and the general public to engage in STEM and contribute within their own communites.
After building the initial base of our robot, we showcased its parts to young students in a community. By explaining the designing, building, and collaboration process to the youth, they were excited by robotics and inspired to start engineering themselves. Additionally, we played a previous FRC competition clip, to which the children were exclaiming with glee and jumping up and down!
Our team hosted a Fix It Clinic at Las Positas Community College in Livermore. By helping repair others' broken technology & items, we showed the community how mechanical engineering is useful in the real-world.
We assisted a middle school FLL robotics team during their season. Our help with building, coding, and planning pushed the team to success.
Our team partnered with Tri Valley Excel to host a Circuit Hacks Hackathon event for kids in grades 3-8. They were faced with challenges and guided by our team members and speakers from UC Berkeley.
